Right, so it occurred to me that I haven’t given you a good over the shoulder boulder holder review in a little while, and as you may know, I love a good bra!
So last month when I was very kindly gifted the gorgeous Flirtelle Alice from the gals at Brastop I couldn’t wait to write about it! But sometimes as I’ve said before, life takes over, especially in the run up to Christmas everything’s just a little manic to say the least! So I sit here on the bus, blogging. Back to my bus blogging, my me time, the time I get to just to sit and focus. And after wearing the Alice more than a few times over the last month I think she’s ready for a review!
First off the colour, it’s a gorgeous teal and perfect for Winter. All the ice queen vibes! Although it is available in four different colours so if this isn’t your cup of tea there’s plenty of choice! The fabric is sheer with the swirl embroidery adding some delicacy. I love a sheer cup bra, although padded are fun, it’s a sheer cup that works best for my shape I think. It also makes it really comfortable for day to day.
I received my bra in a 36H and it’s a perfect fit and true to size, sometimes with Flirtelle I find I have to go up a cup size but this felt just right. The underwire didn’t come up too high under the arms and it sits lovely flat to my chest.
The one thing I really like about the Flirtelle range is their bra size range, this particular set starts at a 32H and goes up to a 40K great for the fuller busted babes! The briefs I received in a size 18 and are also a really good fit. The briefs go from a size 10-22, also a pretty good range, although I do hope they’ll expand at some point as their bras go up to a 40K, it would be great to have a larger size range in the briefs!
This set is a staple for my wardrobe, great for day to day this Winter. It’s comfy, pretty, an all round fab set! It’s also currently in the Brastop winter sale, with nearly 50% off!
As always I’ll pop the links below so if you want to treat yourself before Christmas, be quick!
